Chris is born in France and is mixed Culture French/African (Cameroon).
Chris started early dancing in 2001 Afro dancing, then started Hip-Hop in 2002. Then Kizomba/Semba/Tarraxa etc..
He started dancing Kizomba/Semba since 2009 in France, UrbanKiz since 2015. Around 20 years dancing experience.
He started DJing for major Latin and Kizomba events since 2012, Chris arrived in Australia (Sydney) and hit the Australian shores since 2 years ago and has since been dancing up a storm and sharing his love of music, as a teacher and DJ with the Latin scene around Australia and around the world.
Amanda Tantzaris
Dance Styles: Urban Kizomba, Semba, Brazillian Zouk, Salsa
Originally trained in Brazillian Zouk 2011- Amanda has been dancing professionaly since 2013 and has learnt from many international artists. Inspired and taught by Carlos & Fernanda Da Silva, William Teixeira, Val Clemente and Lucia Kubasova. She discovered Kizomba in 2015 where she fell in love with the style. Amanda travels yearly to update her dancing styles, gain inspiration and develop her dancing in other countries.
Chris and Amanda have partnered for the past 3 years developing their own style, adding some influence from Brazillian Zouk and Christopher’s other dance styles; Afro-House, Semba, Hip-hop. They have been involved with the Cuban Salsa Congress & Sydney International Bachata Festival, Australian Kizomba Festival, Sydney Latin Festival, also hosting regular events in Sydney and were the ambassadors for the International Flashmob in Sydney for Sept 11.
Chris and Amanda are creators of the Sydney International Afro Kizomba Festival and the Sydney Spring Zouk Festival.
